Cancellations and Refunds

Understanding Hoplocation's Cancellation and Refund Policy


Reservation fee (R100)
- Paid upfront to secure your reservation
- Fully refunded if Hoplocation is unable to confirm your booking
- Non-refundable if you choose to cancel

Booking cancellation policy
- Cancel more than 5 days before check-in: full refund of the booking amount
- Cancel within 5 days of check-in: 50% of the booking amount will be charged
- Cancel within 1 day of check-in: 100% of the booking amount will be charged (no refund)

How to cancel
1. Open your account
2. Go to Reservations
3. Select the booking
4. Click Cancel reservation
5. Confirm your reason and submit

Hoplocation cancellations
- If we are unable to confirm your booking, your R100 reservation fee is fully refunded
- Refund is processed back to your original payment method

Refund processing
- Refunds are returned to your original payment method
- Processing can take up to 30 working days depending on your bank or payment provider
